Each piece is one-of-a-kind and created using reclaimed glass, making every item special with its own history. Please review these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they govern your engagement with our services and the purchase of our products.

2. Product Information

All products showcased on this website are handmade and therefore unique. Due to the use of reclaimed glass, some items may display minor imperfections, such as small chips or irregularities. These are not defects but integral elements of the artwork's character and value. By purchasing a piece, you acknowledge and accept these characteristics as part of its inherent nature.

3. Purchasing Process

Blikstille products are not sold directly through the website. Instead, users can:

1) Book an appointment to visit Dorte Persson's studio in Gilleleje.
2) Schedule a meeting in Copenhagen to view and discuss the artworks in person.

All purchases are finalized during these in-person meetings. Payments are processed at the time of purchase, and all sales are considered final.

4. Returns & Refunds

Given the artistic nature of the products, all sales are final once the purchase is completed in person. This policy complies with Danish law, which outlines specific consumer protections for physical sales transactions.

However, under Danish consumer law, if a product has a defect that was not disclosed or agreed upon at the time of purchase, buyers may have the right to seek resolution. This does not apply to the artistic imperfections and characteristics mentioned above. If you believe a purchased product has a defect, please contact us within 14 days of the purchase date to discuss your concerns.

5. Booking and Communication

All requests for studio visits or meetings in Copenhagen must be submitted via the booking form provided on the website. Once your request is received, we will contact you to confirm the details.

6. Limitation of Liability

Blikstille is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from improper handling of the artworks after purchase. Care instructions will be provided to help ensure the longevity and preservation of each piece.

Any personal information collected through the booking form will only be used to arrange studio visits or meetings. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will never share your information with third parties without your consent.
